Back from Olympic Trials, preparing for Beijing as Olympic Team Alternate. Here is a squat workout I did recently with 135kg/297 pounds. It was supposed to be for 10 repetitions…but who’s counting?;-)

The first is that to develop great looking arms, you need tone, to get tone you need to target the arms with lower reps repeatedly until the myogenic tonus gets firmer. There are three components to a great female arm routine. The triceps, biceps and brachialis, by balancing each area, you’ll develop a well balanced shapely set of arms. As well, you need to make sure your estrogen to testosterone ratio is right so you aren’t storing excess fat back there. Translation, is to watch your carbs, up your protein, keep xenoestrogens and things like soy to a minimum and up your brassica family food amount. This routine is NOT going to cause your arms to look like a bodybuilders or like Madonnas. This routine WILL get you the arms that you want. Lets sweat. Routine A1 Close-Grip Push Up MAX (between 8-15 reps) A2 Tricep Rope Pressdown 10-15 reps Rest 1 minute, Repeat 4 sets B1 Reverse Preacher Curl Slow (10-12 reps) B2 Zottman Curl (8-12 reps) Rest 1 minute, Repeat 4 Sets C1 Decline Dumbbell Tricep Extension (8-10 reps) C2 Hammer Curl Alternate with Hold (6-8 Reps) Rest 1 minute, Repeat 3 sets Perform this routine initially 3 times per week after regular weight training, for four weeks to develop tone.
